Prime Minister Rutte has just announced during the press conference in The Hague that events can take place again. But not after midnight and with a maximum of 75% of the capacity.

From Saturday the 25th of September, there will be no more social distancing in The Netherland (only for public transportation). Visitors will have to show a QR code (to demonstrate their vaccination, recovery or test certificate), something that is already common for other countries. Tests remain free.

This is what Prime Minister Rutte said: “The 25th of September is not the day when everything is back to the way it was before corona. There are still too many new infections and hospital admissions for that. The group that is not yet immune is still too large. For events indoors without a fixed seat, a maximum of 75 percent applies, and not between 00.00 and 6.00. The Outbreak Management Team advises to be careful, which is why they remain closed at night.”

Events allowed again, but not after midnight and up to 75% of visitors.

Earlier, MOJO boss Ruben Brouwer said that minister Hugo de Jonge even asked them ‘not to organize dance events for now‘. The minister has now responded: “I have nothing against dancing at all. Of course not, we want to make as much as possible again. But we also know that not everything is possible.” Shocktoberfest has already announced that it will continue. Also Supremacy, Pussy Lounge and others will go ahead, but will now take place during the day.
