Berlin based Mother Recordings is a label which has been hugely influential over the last few years helping break artists who have gone on to set the scene on fire. Building a fantastic discography and a discernible style they are label who have become a trusted source for DJ’s and music lovers across the globe. Nhan Solo, Mat.Joe, Dilby, Superlover, Purple Disco Machine have all had stand out releases via Mother.
Their latest release, which arrives this week, see’s Chicago producer Anthony Attalla land an absolute monster double header EP featuring two club gems in the shape of Atlas and Pacifico. Anthony is a producer already making a serious splash in 2020 with releases via Saved Records, Elrow Music and Toolroom Records and it’s very easy to see why he’s held in such strong esteem going on the strength of this EP.
Our premier today is Atlas which you can check above. It’s a track packed with groove and dance-floor swagger aplenty. Hitting top speed right from the get go it’s huge drums and thumping bass line sit perfectly powering the track along but still leaving plenty of space for the hands in the air keys and some tasty vocal samples. Atlas is a perfect example of modern house production with great structure, well chosen sounds and powerful mastering. Packed with drama this one will be going straight into many a DJ’s folder marked Peak-Time Bombs.
Following this up with more heat Pacifico will also keep the dancefloor moving nicely once clubbing kicks back into top gear. Again some great drum programming opens things up along with some nice percussive hits giving plenty of club juice. Breaking down to some 90’s pianos which power the track along it’s another track packed with dancefloor nous.
Another must have release from Mother.
