of his , we up the to his much-anticipated set, his love of Australia, forthcoming music and all things Trance.

“The crowds in Australia are absolutely nuts and there’s nothing better than playing to a proper “up for it” crowd,” Shugz says of Australia’s Trance scene.

“The Australian crowd has always been kind to me on and off the dance floor, ever since I made my debut in 2016. We’re very spoiled with the crowds back at home in Northern Ireland with their energy and passion, but you guys aren’t far behind that’s for sure,” he added.

Known for his impactful and captivating sets that thrill worldwide fans beyond measure, Shugz always goes full throttle and delivers sets so forceful clubs the world over have to take safety precautions.

Shugz’s trademark sound continues to spread also through a non-stop barrage of quality productions, making a remarkable rise throughout the scene in recent years.

The Northern Irish producer will further build his legacy and soon unleash brand new music including a collaboration with Billy Gillies – a Tech Trance and Uplifting hybrid gem on Afterdark Records – and he’s set to release an exquisite rework of Marco V’s classic ‘Indicator’, plus a massive remix of “a big tune from a very well known German maestro”, remixed together with David Rust.

“Trance means a lot to me. It’s given me the opportunity to travel the world doing what I love and meet some incredible people along the way as well. It’s the music I’ve been obsessed with since my pre-teen years and I can’t imagine life without it,” Shugz says.

“There really is no feeling like it. So addictive. Spending all the time in the studio writing music and getting it to sound perfect, to then see it doing damage on the dance floors is a buzz I’ll never get sick of – easily one of the best things about the job, for sure.”

He’s absolutely delighted to be back Down Under and Sydney party-goers can expect “tonnes of banging tunes and unpredictable drops” this Friday at Polygon.

“I can’t wait to see you all again. I’m going to be putting my absolute all into all the shows for you to make them as memorable as possible, so let’s get amongst it and have some fun. See you this week!”
